The LMP USB-C Triple-DisplayDock 4K is a full-fledged 12-port USB-C docking station that supports up to three 4K@60 Hz monitors through HDMI 2.0.
Thanks to the DisplayLink video chipset (DisplayLink driver must be installed!), there are no limitations to the number of external monitors even for MacBook Air/Pro models with M1, M2 and M3 processors. Two out of the three HDMI port run on the DisplayLink 6950 chipset, using the USB protocol to transmit the video signal while the third HDMI ports uses the traditional DP Altmode signal and hence does not require any driver.
The Triple-DisplayDock features a wide range of additional ports, including Gigabit Ethernet, 4 USB-A (5G) ports, 2 USB-C (10G) ports, a 3.5 mm audio in/out jack and a Kensington Security Slot. The dock provides passthrough power (Power Delivery 3.0) of up to 85 W to the connected host computer, ensuring sufficient power delivery for connected devices. A dedicated USB-C port allows the use of an external USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power adapter (not included) to power up the Triple-DisplayDock as well as the host. Without external power adapter, the Triple-DisplayDock may also run but with limited capabilities only. LED status indicators show the working status.
Despite its extensive functionality, the docking station is compact and portable, measuring just 11.4 x 11.4 cm, making it a convenient solution for both desktop setups and on-the-go use. The extra-long USB-C connecting cable (1 m) helps to keep it clean on the desktop.
