Micro Piezo Print Head
At the heart of every Epson inkjet printer is MicroPiezo print head technology. It’s exactly the same technology that many of the world’s leading photographers, designers and signmakers use every day to achieve prints that are the world’s best.
Instead of using a system that quite literally boils the ink to fire off ink droplets, the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW’s MicroPiezo print head technology takes full advantage of high–precision microelectronics to create perfectly spherical ink droplets at sizes so small as to be almost at the very limit of human vision.
Add to that, inkjet nozzles that help control incredibly accurate levels of droplet firing and you have an inkjet print head that guarantees photo, text and graphic prints of amazing quality and standard.

Automatic Document Feeder
With the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW, faxing, copying or scanning multiple–page documents has become even easier and less of a hassle, thanks to an in–built automatic document feeder (ADF). Instead of feeding in separate pages one after another or dealing with multi–page feeders that do little more than skew pages during the feeding process, you can stack up to 30 pages and let the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW look after the rest.

Bring together advanced Epson print technologies, such as the MicroPiezo print head, Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) and Resolution Performance Management (RPM), and you have a printer that delivers beautifully detailed on–demand prints time after time.
Utilising advanced RPM technology, the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW’s printer driver intelligently determines the optimum ink droplet size for each minute area of the print. The result is a near perfect balance between speed and quality, with RPM using medium–sized droplets for quickly laying down areas of solid colour, and finer droplets used in areas of gradation, blending and detail.
Intelligent Ink Cartridge System
Each of the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW’s individual ink cartridges contain sophisticated circuitry, which tracks and maintains an accurate record of how much ink has been used and the amount of ink remaining. So, even if you remove a cartridge then reinstall it, the Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW’s printer driver knows immediately how much ink is still in the cartridge.
Now, instead of running out of ink halfway through a print, the printer driver automatically checks on the amount of ink in each cartridge then displays an early warning if the ink level in any of the cartridges is approaching empty. It’s the best possible system for using full cartridges for large print jobs, whilst making the most out of partly used cartridges for other smaller jobs. Maximum ink usage, maximum benefits.
